Our mission is to provide support and a place where homeschool kids from Bonner County can make friends with other homeschool kids. We will never charge a fee or require you to register. We would like parents to come up with activities or classes for any interested kids to participate in. It is our hope that parents with lots of different skills can offer our kids more than any one parent can.
Email us with ideas for the homeschool group to participate in. We will be glad to put it on our calendar and promote it on this site.

Inclusive means no one will be rejected because of the style of homeschooling they use or because of their religious or personal beliefs.
All activities proposed by parents will be promoted on this site as long as they are legal and reasonably safe.
No one will ever be expected to attend any activites they do not want to attend.
No one is allowed to have a fit because some of the parents wish to attend a Christian event or because others wish to attend a new age event, etc.
The primary rule of conduct for this group is that we treat one another with respect and kindness.
Any Questions?
My name is Michelle. I'm a homeschooling mother of six boys ages 12, 10, 7, 5, 3, and 1. We began homeschooling more than six years ago when our oldest son, in kindergarten at the time, was having trouble in school. It got to the point where I was desperate to find another option. I had thought about homescholing, but thought it would be too tough, it would tie me down, I couldn't stick to a schedule, and what did I know about teaching kids anyway. I looked into private schools, but they were so expensive. I ended up taking the plunge and removing him from school mid-way through the year. On Monday morning I sat there going, "Oh, what have I done?" Over the years I figured it out and homeschooling has been the biggest blessing not only for my kids but also for me and I think, for my husband as well.
I enjoy running, reading, blogging, writing, and making sorry attempts at gardening. My kids like Legos, reading, building stuff in the woods, eating sweets and staying up past their bedtime. My ten-year-old has plans to build and launch a rocket. We live on ten acres in the Vay area, southeast of Priest River. My husband, Cameron, works in Spokane, driving truck for Darigold. He likes running, messing around on the computer, motorcycles, his 1972 VW Bug, and taking naps.
We look forward to getting to know you. Come to our Kids Club Day. I'd like to hear from you. E-mail me with your comments or questions. What do you want out of this homeschool group? What ideas do you have? What needs does your family have? Want to find out more about the group? Want help with begining or deciding to homeschool?
